Default Rear brake pad on 2008

I'm new to this site and trying to learn how to navigate it. So, please, direst me if I'm doing this, right or wrong.

I'm not new to working on brakes, but I've run into something on my 2008 rear brakes that I don't understand. When trying to remove the 3/8" allen bolts that hold the caliper, the bolt comes loose, but just clicks and keeps turning. I'm not able to remove the caliper. What am I missing?

Just a guess, The end of the bolt may have a C shape clip on it you have to remove before the bolt can be removed.

Thanks for the reply. I'll check for that. It does have a hole under each bolt on the bottom side of the caliper. I was wondering if those holes were of significance? I'm not able to get under to see what they are, as I don't have a lift/jack.

Copper Spyder, thank you. There were C (or E) clips on the back side of each bolt. Not the easiest things to get to.
