You are correct what the sticker says...GOOD CATCH...But the mounting brackets on the rear of the seat in the picture are NOT for the 2010 to 2019 RT's...I just changed my RT seat last week...

Your pic of the complete seat is actually an RS/GS Comfort seat. I have one on my GS.
The label is confusing though with its RT designation.
The part# 219400416 is the same as on my original purchase receipt for the Comfort seat..

Well, YES, it will allow for a passenger backrest.... but on the GS/RS/RSS/ST's, the seat rider/pillion seats are a single unit with a separate backrest that mounts on the rear cowling, so while they will allow for a passenger backrest, it's gonna be a separate backrest not an integrated jobbie! . Even the OEM Backrests mount separately behind the seat... only you'd likely be a tad pushed sourcing all the necessary bits for an OEM backrest this many years after they've stopped production of these models!

I can tell all of you that shipping that seat is going to be pretty pricey, so be prepared for sticker shock!! I have had a seat sold twice, until I told them what the shipping cost would be!! Good luck!!

I sent him a PM the day he listed it and he saw my message as it is confirmed, but haven’t received anything back.
It sucks cause I would’ve bought the seat that day.
So it seems McGone isn't interested in selling this at all, or he's already sold it & just hasn't bothered to tell us....
To forestall any further confusion &/or disappointment, I'm closing the thread. If the OP still DOES want to sell this item, please PM me when you're able & I'll re-open the thread. In the meantime, to all those who were trying to contact him unsuccessfully to try & do a deal, I'm sorry, but there's not much else we can do...
