Hello old friends
Haven’t posted for years, since leaving the Spyder world. My days of riding a HD touring machine are about to end. My worn out hip can’t take it any more. I’ve been contemplating a 2015 F3, and was wondering if these bikes have proven to be reliable good machines, or not ? My 2008GS was excellent. Any information or insight greatly appreciated. Thanks, Coz.
it was fun while it lasted.

Although I don't own one, you can do a search and find that some '15 F3 owners have had a problem with the front drive sprocket coming loose and requiring replacement. Some owners have had the problem with more than one sprocket. Other than that the 1330 ACE engine with six-speed semiautomatic transmission has proven itself a reliable power plant.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

From what I have seen, following this forum almost daily, my guess is the 2017s seem to have the fewest problems. Just my observation.

You don't want to step into a newer chaise? Some say there a little better in a lot of ways!!

Welcome back. Long time no hear.
F3 seems to be a pretty good machine. We hear very few complaints on them.
I have two, a 2019 and a 2020 and am very happy with both. So far, no issues for me.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

My vote is for a 2017 F3. It still still has the anolog dash and not the new BRP connect which from what I hear is very hard to connect with different things. I'm all for the simple life. I love my 2017 F3 Limited.
By the way welcome back to the madness.

Ole pal
WELCOME HOME OLE PAL......
YES, YES & YES.... go for that 2015 F3....
i traded my '15 F3, and it sold within 2 days... i had over 55,000 miles of smiles on her, and she still has another 100K to go...
find one that has had all the proper maintenance, and you'll be golden... i did all my own maintenance per BRP recommendations and other than the stupid FRONT SPROCKET, i had ZERO ISSUES with her....
now on my 2019 F3, and still doing well... it's just this crazy-ass virus stuff that's get'n in the way of X-country rides... we are scheduled to ride the mountains of WV in Oct, but i'm wondering if we'll even be able to cross state lines without a Virus Pass-Port of which i do not have one, nor will i....
however, go for that F3, and again welcome home pal....

My wife has put 50K+ on her 2016 F3-T, and I have put 30K+ on my 2017 F3-Ltd.
With good maintenance service (we use SpyderPops) we ride every week all year round here in Arkansas.

Well said, my friend. My '17 F3L is all the bike I need since I do not listen to music when riding. My music come from the engine, the exhaust, the tires and the wind.
