DickB - buying from somewhere that allows returns is a bit hard since I will have to import the screen. No, aftermarket screens in The Netherlands.
threewheel read about that - that to me is a downside to the madstadt. And tes, will use loctite on screws.
For now will have to find out how much both would be (with import fees) and then make up my mind.

Bummer. My bicycling friend returned 5 seats to Amazon before settling on one that he liked. I returned one windshield on my other motorcycle because it was just too short.

Yep, indeed. Just not enough Spyders/ Rykers in The Netherlands/ EU I think for aftermarket parts.
Anyway have in the meantime decided to go for the f4 clear 16" one - people seem to be very happy with them quality wise. And I think hight wise they will work well for me too. Am 5.7" and will also put a customseat on the Ryker so will sit a bit higher which will allow me, very likely, to look over the windshield.
Put in the order with Martinthevlogger the other day.

Took some pics of the Customs F4 windshield while out and about. It's 16" tall with the light tint.

Started with the standard shield, and added SaengTa Stealth Edging for an extra couple inches of still air. Works slick. The hand bubbles are cheapies off Amazon and block a LOT of wind. It all fits and works well together.
PS - Just noticed the standard windshield frame includes what look like ported vents ... kewl! Was always a fan of the "pop vents" on the bigger fairings for keeping the shield from fogging.

KnurledNut - nice - looking good on the bike . Am glad I bit the bullet and put an order in for an f4 with Martin. A few more days and I will be on my way to the dealer to order a 22 Rally. Then the long wait begins....

could--make yourself a little bottom bracket to move the top of the windshield toward the rider--only couple of inches but maybe just enough--i am toying with the idea since the
f4 is way to big and i cant stand looking through the top edge or the shield itself--i may have to cut the shield

Iwent with the deluxe fairing because you can change the clear windscreen form a low sporty to a med size or a large touring windscreen. IMG_1806.jpg Here is my sporty one.
