    Exclamation Fuel Gages Don't Work

Ever since March when we purchased our brand new 2021 CanAm Spyder RT touring, neither the dealer or BRP has been able to fix our fuel gauge. They even took out the electronics and put in a new one, but to no avail. The only part that works is that it does show the miles we travel. But the tank gauge stays at the full mark all the time. Even though the tank is suppose to be a seven gallon tank. It stops running when 5 gallons is used. We love to travel long distances to obscure places and have to make sure we fill up every 150 miles. I WAS HOPING A MECHANIC HAS SOLVED THIS ISSUE AND CAN LET US KNOW HOW IT CAN BE FIXED. If not we sure did purchase a "LEMON"!!! Feeling quite frustrated!! THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE!!

Maybe a bad sending unit in the tank, loose wire or bad connections. If all of that was not checked then they need to start again. That or take it to another dealer.

For starters, it's a new machine that is covered by warranty.

BRP needs to step up and get it fixed.

If a particular dealer is not capable of doing it...then another dealer needs to get involved.

You have not told us what the dealership said about its apparent inability to solve the problem. Suggest you compose a complete, detailed report of the problem with the Spyder's VIN and the dealership's attempted but unsuccessful corrective action to BRPCare@brp.com and ask them to open a case with the dealership and fix the problem under warranty.

Along with what others have stated, I'd start researching alternate service departments NOW. I'm sure they tried to their best, but some are just better.

a good reference to brp care. They may need to get involved here.
