Default Spyder to Helmet Audio Level too quiet, any help?

I used the BRP connect app, my phone linked to the Spyder via BT and USB but audio level is low on my Cardo which is linked to the bike. Phone volume is all the way up. I can hear the audio but it is quiet. It’s a cool feature. Any thoughts? It’s a 2020 F3 L

Not sure, but maybe there is a 2ndry volume control on your cardo.

Each input channel has its on volume control. That input must be active at the time of the adjustment.

You didn't specify your phone type. If it's Android do this in Developer Mode.

If you are unsure how to access Developer options and disable Absolute volume toggle, follow these instructions:

    1 - Open Settings.
    2 - Choose System.
    3 - Open About phone.
4 - Locate the Build number and tap it 7 times in succession to enable Developer options.
5 - Now, you should see Developer options in Settings > System.
6 - Scroll down until you reach the Networking section.
7 - Once there, enable (toggle ON) the Disable absolute volume option.
8 - Reboot your device and you should have more control over the volume of Bluetooth devices.

You didn't mention if this is happening when your riding by yourself or when connected with other riders. I have found when connected with a group the max volume is less than when riding solo. Also, are you trying to control the volume with the phone controls or with the Spyder joystick?

    Default Using Cardo To Connect

    Hello Peatmoss,
I have a 2018 F3 Ltd and experienced the same thing. I quit linking to the BRP Connect and Bluetoothed directly to my phone with my Cardo and the volume on the song playlist app more than doubled. Have continued to not use the BRP Connect and go direct to Cellphone and GPS with the Cardo and all is well. Just a thought for you. A couple of photos for your review.

I have Cardo - after you connect to your phone, turn up your media volume on your phone. That's what I have found. Hope it helps.

My 18 F3-L had horrible sound up till the point I had my software updated. Now it really is better. Not really bassy, but definitely 200% louder.

I've tried everything everyone mentioned. Going direct from phone to cardo has been the best so far. I wanted to get rid of the phone holder on the bike, but think I'll keep it. I just didn't like the cluttered look of it. Oh well... I'll get over it. I did update my cardo yesterday, so I'll try it when its not 105 or raining. Thanks for the help!
