Sunny today, highs in the 80's.

Tommorow, Wed, Thursday, temps in the 90's lows in the 70's hazy,hot humid we'll have a heat wave.

Getting very sick of the humidity in southern WI. Thunderstorms and tornadoes have become the norm it seems. Can't wait for fall riding to get here.

The warmest I saw today was 81 on our ride through the Hills, perfect weather for the Rally. Ran into smoke in Spearfish though from the Montana fires.

We've had a few 'fine & sunny but still brisk winter's days' here in my part of Oz lately, even had a few really nice morning rydes - but not today....

It's been bleedin' pouring down all day so far and it's been pretty cold with it too, only 2°C o/night! Right now it's 2:00 pm and the temp has finally juuust clawed its way into double digits, coinciding with what looks like it'll be a momentarily fleeting break in the pouring rain, but the radar's showing more heavy rain is just minutes away.... not happy, Jan!

Today was a perfect summer day here in the desert S.W. The thunder gods woke me up at about 5:30 AM. It rained for about 4 hours. Had a leisurely morning cooking breakfast and doing not much else. The rain quit and by noon the sun was out. It got to a high just over 90 which was just right to hang around the pool for a couple of hours. Then it was time to plan for my next meal. Another few weeks and the monsoons will be gone, the temperatures will come down, and riding season will be here. Stay safe..... Jim

Indiana has been hit with sunshine and some hot weather this week. 87°F now, going to 91°F this afternoon. A Heat advisory today 105°F. I will be staying inside in AC.

I have started my outpatient treatments and they are going very well. Next week I will start the inpatient treatments.

Today, we have the sunshine, hot & humid weather. Temps in the 90's, lows in the 70's.
This weekend the temps will be much cooler.

Here in Mechanicsburg, PA... 98 predicted high for today with more of the same tomorrow along with high humidity and afternoon/evening thunderstorms. Looking, and hoping, for a cool-down over the weekend. Unusually hot weather for this part of the country but at least we aren't in the triple-digit actual temperatures like some are experiencing.

Today started out with lotsa fog, rain, & cold.... Then it cleared for a moment or three around lunch-time, before it settled in with more rain, getting colder, & the fog blowing over again.....

Good thing I got to ryde in the 40 minutes that it wasn't raining between this morning's fog & this arvo's fog!

Who was it that brung all this Winter Weather to my part of Oz?!? From the way it's wet & foggy & cold allatime, you'd think it was Winter here!!

Oh, hang on, I'm in Oz, Southern Hemisphere.... it IS Wintertime!

Finally a break in the weather. Seems all we have had lately is hot, humid and rain. Only the order of each has changed !

Hot and humid (for us) in the desert S.W. Having a mix of sun and clouds with a little monsoon action thrown in just to spice things up a bit. Hope to get some riding in, in the next few weeks. Got lazy this summer. Hanging around the air conditioned house and floating in the pool. Anxious to pull the boots on and hit the road. Stay safe..... Jim

Near 100 degrees for the next few days here. Taking a break from ryding, although I did take the Spyder to church this morning. Over 1100 Sturgis miles logged.

Sunday was an awesome day. 80°F with the humidity at 60%. Low of 61°F.
More of the same on Monday 81°F low of 62°F.

Spent the day with my wife and family.
Tomorrow, Monday I will start the inpatient treatments.

Indiana has been hit with sunshine and lots of heat.
88°F - 94°F through Sunday. It rain yesterday and now
the humidity at 90%. Low only 70°F.

.. My first round of treatments went well.
Hope that next round will be good to me.

Our monsoon rains hit the last couple of days and it is wet and cool. Lehi a town north of me got 4.5 inches in one day, that is 1/4 of the annual rainfall in one day. More rain today and the low pressure has created a situation where the smoke from California and Oregon is also pouring in. Very unusual.we have rain and smoke. If you are riding to our National Parks, check your route to make sure it isnt under flood watch or flooded out.

Friday Saturday, and Sunday are expected to be dry hut smokie,rain again by Monday. Friday our riding group has it's annual drive in movie night so the dry comes just in time. Hope it's a good movie.

Mid 80's today. Rain and t-storms today and tomorrow. The grass needs a drink or two so all is well.

Still a bit warm and humid here in the desert S.W. Some of the towns around the valley (Flagstaff, Globe) have had a lot of flash flooding lately. They're in areas that previously had wild fires so there is nothing to hold the monsoon moisture. Roads flooded out and lots of homes with flood damage. The monsoons are supposed to start ending after today. Then we will get back to normal with highs in the mid-100s and lows in the mid 80s. This year we have had more monsoon action than normal. It comes and goes quickly. When it rains, it usually does at a rate of 1-2 inches per hour. With flash floods shortly thereafter in flood prone areas. Stay safe..... Jim

The monsoon left us last week here in the desert S.W. We are now experiencing excessive heat warnings with temperatures above 110. Local hiking trails are closed due to heat. It amazes me how many times people ignore heat warnings and trapes around the hills only to have to be rescued at the expense of the tax payers. I did my weekly cloths washing today. Instead of firing up the dryer, I hung my bed sheets on a line in my car port. They were bone dry in 20 minutes.

The heat will continue through the weekend with some cooling (below 100) and chance of more monsoons next week.

Here in Mechanicsburg PA we are still in the same weather pattern.... sunny, hazy, hot, and humid. Today's temp (at 6PM) has dropped to 91 but still 'feels' like 96. Having trouble finding the AC button on my Spyder -- so no riding for now. Looking forward to cooler weather... September isn't too far away.

Winter is juuust about over here in South Oz, and the temps have started climbing ahead of Spring's imminent arrival! . The daily temps finally topped 20°C again today (it's late on 31 Aug here already, which is the last official day of Winter in Oz! ) and the rest of the week is forecast to be sunny, with temps in the high 20's/low 30's, maybe even hitting mid/high 30's by the weekend, and little likelihood of much more'n a few mm's of rain.

Great ryding today, the sun was shining & there wasn't a cloud in the sky, with just enough of a gentle breeze to keep things from getting too stifling. . Spring arrives officially for us in just a coupla hours/tomorrow, and that means our weather should start getting sunnier, warmer, ĺ& windy-er as the next few months progress, altho we do generally still get some Spring rain before the Summer heat sets in! Dang it, but there's no escaping the fact that Christmas is coming - rapidly, just like the headlight of an oncoming train!
