 Need help with cat pipe
I bought a cat delete pipe from a spyder member here... It has an extra hanger on it that goes the wrong way. Do I need two hangers on it or can I cut it off???
It's from a 2016 F3 and trying to put on 2016 F3...

Do you know the maker, go on there website and make sure it the right one for your bike! That's what I'd do, there may be a funky rubber hanger for that top piece!!

Don't know maker .. There is no rubber hanger for it.. Only original hangers for cat.. D0se it really need 2 hangers since it's only about 2 lbs....

Cut it off if using on an RT. Not needed. Mine doesnt have the extra hanger. No issues at all.

I installed mine without the third hanger works good on a 2021 rtl

what configuration are you going to use, i have one coming tomorrow,, baffle in-out-plug-no plug ..lol

Really can't help you.. The pipe I bought must have been some kind of off brand.. Had to cut off extra bracket, then baffle wouldn't work with pipe.
I did finally get the pipe on and it works... Good luck with yours....

ended up with baffle in with no plug in baffle,, sounds great.......

Mine was from RLS and yes for some reason the top hanger went the wrong way, so heated it up and bent it in the correct direction and used the original rubber hanger. Works great.

That one uses a rubber donut. Make one out of a car tire sidewall. Picture a rectangle, 2x4”. Bore 2 holes 3/8”. One end on bypass, one end on frame hooks. Measure distance between hooks, bore holes. Slide on. If you don’t have a ruined tire laying around, call me: I have plenty! I can cut you a piece. Joe
