Front Tires - anyone fitted 155/60/15's?
Hi everyone! Does anyone have experience with fitting 155/60/15 front tires? These tires have a max load of 74 and the original 165/55/15 tires have a max load 75. Can these tires be fitted interchangeably?

Those numbers are not "max load", they are merely a "load rating". You will have to look on the side of the tire to see what the max load is, but I can pretty much guarantee that it will be very adequate for the bike and passenger(s).

I am guessing they are NON -Kenda tires ie they are auto tires ..... that size will work OK ..... I recommend 15-17 PSI ..... if they are Auto tires .... Mike

Marek, ARtraveler, another of the Moderators here, was only trying to help you in his post #2 above by reminding other posters that YOU are in Poland, while the majority of the members here are in North America, so many of the tires available to the other members may not be available to you, and that there may be other things that differ between EU spec Tires & the rules surrounding their use & US/Canadian spec Tires & the rules surrounding their use!
PM sent.

Thanks for clearing it up. As you mentioned, I was just trying to help. A lot of posters do not read the fine details, and a few might have missed the fact that the OP is from Poland, where some of the tire information, availability, etc. might be different.

Poland is not in the Third World. You may not believe it, but we have everything available here just like in any modern country ...
