Default Risers - anyone tried them? Can I fit DIY?

I see that Sling Mods sells risers for the Spyder, and I'm thinking it might make my riding position more comfortable. Anyone here make that mod? Do the cables on the handlebars have to be replaced? Wondering how big a job it would be to install the risers myself.

A few folks here have bought and used " ROX " risers if they had an F-3 ..... go to DennisKirk - snowmobile catalog , they are a lot less expensive ..... Mike

Lamonster has a 2 in riser block that is far more solid than ROX risers. You will likely have to release the cable clamps on the handlebars to gain the extra slack.

Hey Vito, have you looked at this thread?

Could be worth your while to contact & at least talk to Kevin, even if you don't end up buying from him?!?

I have the same riser Kevin is selling that Peter A mentioned above on my F3-S Special and I absolutely love it.

Just put LaMonsters riser block on my 21 F3-S Special. Easiest mod so far. Took less than fifteen minutes.

I bought the 2" riser from lamonstergarage and did not have to do anything with the cables. There was enough slack.

Concur. Did one last week for a lady. Super simple, plenty of wire. She was thrilled.
Last month, I installed the adjustable riser on a 21 RT. Also simple, works great!

OP---It depends what you ride. If you have an F3 or a 2020+ RT, those are good suggestions. You can NOT add risers to a PRE 2020 RT.
