Unless you want to FLUSH the system .... to be safe I would use BRP's .... Mine is now 7 yrs. old and still tests good .... Mike

I changed mine with a piece of plastic I gave to dealer. He was nice enough to give me a piece of paper back.

Really, any good quality coolant will work fine.
I just flushed mine and replaced it last week. I mixed up a batch of 40/60 (40% Prestone and 60% distilled water) of the green Prestone. I run that mixture in all my bikes. You can buy it pre mixed as 50/50.
Flushing with at least distilled water is a great idea too. I also vacuumed out the bottom of the radiator and took out many many little kidney stones. I believe the previous owners just used country tap water. It had heavy mineral deposits.
It's not like BRP has a special blend or a factory that they produce their own. Of course they want you to get their jacked up ($$$$) products. Same with the oil.
My 2010 RTS took a little better than 3.2 liters.

I have used PEAK GLOBAL in my Honda Valkyrie's since 2004, It's a lifetime mix that is Phosphate and Silicate free. (The silicates caused trouble with the Honda 's waterpumps)
Run that in our Spyders now.

Why cheap it out? If you can afford a Spyder you can afford the BRP coolant that comes cut 50:50 with demineralized water. To do it correctly, pop for a service manual, about $30 online: https://canammanuals.com/.
