    Default Brake pad help needed.

Looks like my brake pads are getting a little low so I've got a few questions you may be able to help me with.

How many miles are you getting from a set of pads.
How much are you guys in the USA paying for a set of pads front and rear.
Are the new no squeel pads any good.
Has anyone found any after market pads for the Spyder.

Any and all help is much appreciated

Gazey, I thought I read somewhere that EBC do break pads for the Spyder. They definitely do them for other Canam products.

I got 25K out of my pads but I can't remember what I paid. It was high though.

EBC lists the pads, but their reseller told me they won't be available for a while. Said to try again in February.

Back pads: replaced in warranty at 25k (squeaking).
Front pads: replaced at 38k ("check break" light) in Hollywood, CA (no charge-professional courtesy).

I have replaced both the back and fronts. The back was pretty bad but still had some pad left. both replaced at 12K.
I think I paid 129 for the fronts and 85 for the back without labor as I put them on myself.
I must say, they are just as if not more noiser than the orginal pads.

That sounds about right price wise if I remember right.

EBC rears are $39.15 with tax and license and are available-I have a set
EBC fronts are$78.30 with tax and license and are not available.

With 33,000 miles I am real close to 2.8 MM on what I think are the original pads. The lower limit is 1 MM?? The new ones measure 3.75 MM so I think my dealer must have changed out the originals at some point. Either that or dragging my feet to stop is working well for me.
