Kenwood KAC-M1824BT Bluetooth Amplifier

I tried pretty much every Boss amplifier and a few others. I was not satisfied with the power or sound quality.

Then I tried the Kenwood. OMG. This puts out some power indeed. 90 watts true power (rms) per channel. Sound quality is fantastic.

I combined these with 4" coaxial speakers and the sound is loud and good (3" does not cut it). I am giving this amplifier 5 stars for the money. I paid $212 at Bestbuy for an open box kenwood amplifier.

The volume control is separate from your phone which I like. It is a four channel amp that can be "bridged".
4 X 45 watts or 2 X 90 watts.

I am highly recommended this amplifier for those looking for a very good bluetooth amplifier with a small foot print.

I can understand, that people want to hear music, while on the road, but for me, the best sound, is the symphony from the exhaust, but thanks for sharing a review, On long trips I use the cardo, and my phone, to stream to the headset, this works for me.
GPS, Radio or just the music stored on my phone. (I have the upgrade JBL set)

Did u install yourself or did they?

Yes I installed it myself. Extremely easy. The hardest part of course is cosmetically routing the wires. I'd be more than happy to help you install one if you're interested. PM me and we can share numbers.

For long highway trips, headsets are definitely the way to go for me. For short casual around town trips, I love this setup. Extremely easy day or night to control your music that sits right in front of you. I am even thinking about using the "line out" into a Bluetooth transmitter because the controls are so easy for my headset (the phone is a pain). The amp also has a USB port. Of course it is in the trunk but you can charge something in your trunk while having dinner or something. I already have USB on my handle bars.

I set up the amp in a way to make easy access to the battery. Can't say enough about how great this amplifier is for this application.

I posted this because I wish I knew this existed before running through a myriad of disappointing amplifiers. I spent $212 on the amp and $80 on the speakers. Superior to the $400 sound bars in terms of volume, sound quality, and way easier to operate while riding.

Today I will clean up the wiring to the amp in the trunk to make it look pretty.

AZCanAm, Hi. I have a 2015 Can Am Spyder Rt limited and was looking into adding a amp to my radio. I've already upgraded the speakers but would like to add the amp for a little more clear sound and bass..LOL. Could you please share how you went about to connect the amp to your factory radio. Feel free to PM me to exchange phone numbers. If you already are happy with your radio as a "source" for music, then I would just focus on a good amplifier as oppose to a Bluetooth amplifier. I have recommendations for both scenarios.

In terms of the electrical connections--extremely easy. The most difficult part is the routing of the wires through all of the Tupperware.
