Why trailer it when you can ride? It shouldn't take more than an hour, probably less if the technician is very proficient. Riding it to and from you will also be able to immediately notice any change(s) if it was significantly out of alignment. Never trailer when you can ride!

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

The guys at the dealership where I had mine done had it knocked out in 20 minutes. What is the "trailer" of which you guys speak?

I’m thinking that it all depends on where you get it aligned and how busy they are. The only place that I can get a laser alignment is my dealer and to get mine done I need to make an appointment and leave it with them for the day. They are a busy shop and do not drop everything when I show up, and make all others wait. just my $0.02 worth.

On the other hand, since I have to ride 90 miles to the dealership, always call ahead to make an appointment telling them I will be there before they open the doors and they always run me in as the first customer.

My local small dealer allocates 4 hours (but doesn't charge for 4 hours). They have to clear a bay and configure the Laser equipment because they don't have room for a dedicated area.

I had mine done by the dealer. It took about 2 hours, mainly because he was working on other Spyders at the same time. I waited since I am retired and didn't have to go anywhere. LOL
