    Default 1 year service call

I will have my Ryker one year on June 20 but I only have 3400 miles on it,the oil looks good the filters look good so my question is do I still need the service call at 1year or wait till I get 6000 miles? TIA

I will be at about the same miles after 1 year and I intend on doing the 1 year/6000 mile service as specified in the owners manual.

I would suggest you do the one year, after all it is 6K or 1 year. Better safe than sorry.

Follow the schedule in you operator's guide; it says every year or 6,000 miles (whichever comes first).

Another vote for service minimum of one year, regardless of miles. That is cheap insurance on a expensive machine. Follow the manual and CYA.

I think the earlier you get the oil change done the better. .... The engine will produce the most DEBRIS after it is first put into service, so getting rid of it with the filter is a good ides .... Mike
