Default 09 GS with a Hindle/Can-Am exhaust - does yours smell?

Just checking to see if anyone else , with the same setup and is getting the same thing . I have a 2009 , GS with a Hindle / Can-am exhaust . When i am shifting , i get the smell from the exhaust . Mostly in 3rd,4th and 5th . And of course at highter RPM's . The Misses complaints about it also . Finds it a bit loud too , but we have to live with that one .

It could well be the exhaust gasket on the Y pipe where the pipe from each cylinder slip in. The stock ones burn out. Most folks have replaced then with a Honda gasket. The opening on the Y pipe needs to be opened up just a tad to fit over the Honda gasket.
