Go to this web site, http://epc.brp.com/Index.aspx?lang=E...d-7bea40125dbe, Select Can-Am On-Road, Select Year and Model RT, Select Fiche 09-Luggages, Click on Item 99. PN is 708300383, Name Gaz Shock. Price is not given but Cheap Cycle Parts lists it as $64.99 and it should be close to the BRP price.

    Default Trunk strut

First open the lid - it's the thing on the left ..... But, in case your question is where to buy one !!!! .... when mine wore out I just made a metal rod ( shaped to fit ) that is attached through the trunk lip and this holds the lid up... and much higher than the gas strut ever did .... cost $ .05 +/- ..... Mcmasters is a good place for struts, when the one under my seat got so weak I had to hold it up to gas up, I ordered one from there, price was right, came fast, and now it opens it self, I have to push down on the seat a little because the struts pushing up on the latch!
