    Default 2015 SST belt tension - What are you running?

    2015 SST 998 , Wheel on ground belt tension with kirkit 2 , 200-220 - seems good? Whats every one else running?

    Mine is at `160 lbs ( measured on-the-ground ).... No vibes and less pressure on the front sprocket .... Good luck .... Mike

    WAAAYY to tight. very easy to get vibes with that. as long as you measured in middle on top side of belt. strain on wheel bearings and sprocket are at higher risk. got mine about 160 / 165 on ground - kricket2. no belt tensioner - only happens from time to time, mostly when spyder goes over bumps in road that triggers vibes for a while. i'll take that over forgetting to look at belt tensioner pulley and bearings and they fail and arm goes into belt and destroys it
