Default Again with tires - could this be better than the Vredestein Quatrac 5?

I stumbled onto this at the Tire Rack website:

Vredestein Quatrac - notice, not the 5 or the Pro, just plain Quatrac.
    https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...R5QT&tab=Sizes

Here are a few other places to see more about them:

Any comments on how appropriate they may be to be used with Spyders?

Well that's a NEW model .... the smallest size they have is at the size limit for the fronts .... and it only has a 118 mph speed rating .... time will tell .... Thanks for the info .... Mike PS they do have nice sizes ( and tread pattern ) for Ryker RALLYE owners tho.

If you have an interest in Spyder tires check the LINKS ..... I'm impressed, I discovered the Q-5 and have been recommending it for about a year now.... this new model could very well be better .... Unfortunately the " Vredestein " web site doesn't give any info on this model ( I guess it's really new ) and I would like to know exactly what sizes are available. Even TireRack doesn't market EVERY size that Vredestein makes ..... Mike

I have that question. Quatrac 5 or Quatrac. 175/55R15. The tread design is obviously different but does it make a difference, say taking a 90 at 90??? I was going to ride my tires a bit longer, but suddenly got nervous. The Conticontactpro reads 7mm and the Kumho AST reads top of the yellow, 4mm. Time to change. Plus the Conti has 42K miles. Again, time.

It is 290 miles to the Can Am dealership to get the tires changed. Should I ride or trailer?

Sounds like a great excuse for an over-nighter.
