Here's a way possibly get the shorter reach bars for free....
F3 bikes from 2019 and earlier had short reach bars that were too close to me and had me leaning backward. I guess I have orangutan arms! The newer RT bikes from 2020 and 2021 have longer reach bars. I swapped with someone who bought a newer RT and needed the shorter reach, so we each got what we wanted for free. That's a good price! Maybe you can find someone with a pre 2020 F3 and swap.

Good idea, but i have a set of F3 bars on now and want to try a short reach bar. To see if the short reach bar would move me just a little more forward. Than the F3 bars.

So you want your grips closer to the front of the bike?

Then you want "long reach bars." Confusing, I know.

I posted the wrong reply. I should of said I want my grips closer to the back rest and not closer to the front of the bike. So do I want short reach bars?

I want my grips to be half way forward from F3 bars and stock bars.

Short reach bars are for shorter arms/reach. The short reach bar will bring your grips closer to "you" towards the back of the bike.
The short reach bar will be longer extending the grips towards your body.

I recently bought "Long reach" handle bars. The bar on top of the other one is the long reach bar. As you can see, it is 2" shorter therefore forcing you to reach longer/further. I hope this clears it up.

EDIT: This is the part you want. SKU: 219400909

See post #2 and trade with a pre 2020 F3 owner.

Has anyone actually put the F3 bars on a 20/21 RTL? The reason I asked is I went into the dealer to look at them. Although I can see the 2' difference it looks as if the F3 bar has a static hole that drops into the mount pin on the receiver. The RTL bars have an elongated hole to allow you to rotate the bars closer or further away about 2". So my questions is on the position of the static hole on the F3 bars. Is that hole at the forward or backward position of the RTL elongated hole? If its at the forward (closer to the rider) then the gain is eliminated and you are in the same position as the RTL bar in the furthest position. In other words it would be pointless. I really want to know if it truly makes you reach further then the stock bars rotated all the way back (to front end).

Shrekftw....I can't speak for other years, but the original bars on my '17 F3L had an elongated hole. If a bar you get has a round hole, it can either be elongated or the pin can be ground down. The clamp hold the bar tight, so not to worry about the pin being gone.
The bar I swapped for also had an elongated hole and it was from a 2021 RT.

I got a OEM handlebar off a 2020 RTL that I put on my 2017 F3L but the 2020 bars are just too far forward that my arms are almost straight out. If anybody thinks they can use the handlebars let me know. I think the 2020 RTL bars are comparable to the long reach bars for the F3L.
