Default Shift paddle mod - is there anything to bring + paddle closer?

I have a 2011 RTs SE5 and I was wondering if there is a mod that brings the shift paddle closer to my thumb? I feel like I'm having to reach for it to upshift. I searched for some type of paddle extension but can seem to find anything.

Check out the posts by Blueknight911 - he's even got some images in his albums showing just such a mod!

What a great idea, make a pad and glue it to the lever.

Thanks Peter for the recommendation ( and the LINK ) ..... When I designed these and sold dozens as a Vendor ... I tried various different types of materials .... the best I came up with was using " TYVECK " ( plastic boards ). they were strong but easy to shape with a Dremel and coarse stone. I used a pop rivet to hold them ( I didn't trust glue alone ) and glued a piece of thin leather to cover it .... I found only the + needed to have it..... I think you could even make them from scrapes of " blue or pink " foam insulation board ..... good luck .... Mike

You're too modest by far Mike. You actually sculpted them with a depression shaped for the thumb. Genius.

.. Thanks for the compliment ..... and figured if I was going to shape them - it might as well conform to the digit you mostly use for it ....... I'm glad She's happy ....Happy Mother's Day also .... Mike
