My Two Wheel Days Are Over

I made a deal today to send my Kawi Vulcan 900 LT down the road. it was on sale here, but, alas, no takers.

It will be taken back to the Kawi dealer on Tuesday and they will be bring us a new 2021 Mule, side by side. I thought dealing with them was not going to be fun as they do not carry m/c's any more. Contrary, they gave me a good trade in and the rest of the deal was no fees or any kind, and just sales tax.

Linda and I could not be happier. Now we have a utility vehicle to run around our property for taking care of things.

Congrats, you will enjoy the Mule. My grand daughter was checking out one today. It was red. She liked it better than the Polaris and the Can Am. She is 7 years old..

Your 'Two Wheel' days might be over, which is undeniably a pretty big milestone

but at least it's not the end of your 'knees in the breeze' days or the 'miles of smiles' you'll still get on your Spyders!!

I decided 2 years ago that it was time to stop riding 2-wheelers while I was still ahead of the game. So, I sold my cherished VStar. I miss that style of riding, but the decision was made much easier than it would have been without Spyders to turn to for 'knees in the breeze' experience.

I totally agree UP.... I quit 2 wheels about 8 years ago, and thought that my riding days were over. Then I moved out of northern BC to the southern clim’s of the province and found the Spyder dealer here. Haven’t looked back....have put on many ‘miles of smiles’ since! Thank you BRP!

Final: we got it registered with the Personal Property Tax people, and put full insurance on it...just to keep Murphy away. Have talked with neighbors and they tell us about many interconnected dirt roads right in our back yard. The AR Gazeteer shows a lot of them. Going to do some of that and take the Garmin along...so we don't get lost. We have two entrances within a mile of the main road that goes by our home. There are a LOT of UTV's and 4 x 4's that go by every day. We have a Sheriff living just down the road...no problem for any of the UTV's whizzing by here, road legal or not. Ours is.

I am hearing the song "Happy Trails" in my head now. Thank you Roy and Dale.

We did one of those roads yesterday. Linda got to make two loops and I also did two. Getting to know the Mule and the area better. How about the tune "getting to know you?" Oh...and Happy trails to you."
