Lamont was released from the hospital this afternoon ...little more than 4 days after liver transplant surgery. A true miracle in my book! From death's door in 2018 when the liver cancer was discovered, to a transplant and a whole new life ahead. Power of prayer, Lamont's own resolve to recover, and Joan's firm guidance have seen him through to this point. May his miraculous recovery continue without issue.
All the best ......... Ann

There are those that believe firmly in the power of prayer. God does answer prayer...but He says one of three things. Yes, maybe, and sometimes no. He has his reasons. And who is to say that HE does not guide the hand of the Physicians and Surgeons at times.
I am a believer. I respect others beliefs, but this thread is talking about Lamont and his miraculous recovery.

Latest on Lamont. His body is showing signs of rejecting the liver. Let's hope they get the meds squared away fast. Keep praying everyone.
Baloo is my name. Spyders are my game. Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, I mean a doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee-dee-doo. And, well, now. Ha ha! What have we here?

It's not unusual for the organ to be rejected in the first 12-18 months even with the antirejection medications. WE can only pray for the DR.s and nurses that are caring for him and pray for him and his family.

Lamonts liver is showing some signs of rejection. Lamont is back in the hospital in St. Louis. The family is making plans for a stay of about a month or so in St. Louis. Joan has requested prayers from those who are willing.
Our families thoughts and go with Lamont and his family. Very tough times, and many hurdles to overcome.
