    Default New exhaust system

2015 RTL-SE6. Considering a Two Brothers S1R muffler. Should I put the cat delete on it or just run it without. Benefits, drawbacks?

Spoke with Two Brothers and they are not supplying their cat delete anymore. They say it lets things get too hot and melts the carbon fiber of the muffler.

Do you have the cat delete or just the muffler?

Part of the problem is that RLS is down right now waiting for materials and it will be 2 - 3 months before I could get anything.

I just swapped the muffler. It's almost 15 pounds lighter than the stock behemoth! Nice sound too. .... like a well tuned 60's sports car.(?) Only about a 1 hour job. It is a "glass-pac" muffler that has gotten a bit louder with the 3,000 miles I have on it; but still quite pleasant. Good Luck.
