    What size socket is needed to remove oil filter lid on a 2020 Spyder RT Limited?

    if they are the same as the older models it would be a 36MM. Since its the same engine.

    Yes. 36mm, same for all 1330 engines.
    2020 RTL SE6

    Previously 2008 GS SM5 and 2014 RT SE6

    Buy a good socket. It also fits the rear axle -- at 166'# you want a quality tool.

    Get this torque wrench extender. With my torque wrench it converter to 117#, you do not have to worry about the muffler being in the way.

    Equally important, and possibly even more so, remember that the crankcase drain plug requires a T-45 Torx bit and the clutch cover, aka transmission, drain plug is 6mm Allen. Using the wrong tool on the crankcase plug can get you to s**t city.
