Spyder vs. Ryker - Five Things You Need to Know Before You Buy
Spyder vs. Ryker - Five Things You Need to Know Before You Buy
I often get questions from folks about which Can-Am trike they should buy...the Spyder or the Ryker. I put together a short video highlighting the main differences in my opinion to help someone who is contemplating either trike. Please watch, subscribe to my channel, and let me know what you think via the comments in the video.

Maybe point out that the Ryker is shaft driven, while the Spyder is belt driven.

I thought the script and audio were good, but the visuals not so much. The biggest problem you're having is the sunlight from the open door creates too much contrast with the dim light at the back of the garage, particularly since everything about the bikes is black. The bikes are also too close together, I think.

I agree, and that's after cataract surgery, and no glasses.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll work to improve my lighting for future videos.

???? I'm pretty sure that Rykers have a 'snowmobile type' CVT transmission (belt-driven) and the final drive is belt, just like Spyders. (so they actually have 2 belts).

They have the cvt trany, witch has a belt, yes, but are shaft driven to the wheels!

Nope... Shaft drive only. No final belt drive. The Ryker is marketed as an 'Off Pavement' vehicle. Not a good environment for an exposed belt drive system.

I just purchased a 21 rally . Drove it only a few miles before i decided i needed a windshield and full rear fender. I owned a spyder for for years in Florida and sold it when i moved to NH. Now i have the rally 900. Same engine as in my skidoo but that is a turbo 900 150 HP.. I like the rally a lot.
