I looked at their site but had the impression they were just for 2 wheel. CORECTION: They're for 3 wheel also.

The Garmin TPMS looks like a good add-on if you have a compatible Zumo but they are a bit pricey. All recommend you replace your valve stems with all metal regardless of what you decide to get.

That's one of the things I like about the FOBO 2 system. So small and light it works well with the rubber valve stems.

A word of caution on the FOBO 2 on a 2020 Spyder. I don't know if 2021 model year kept the same tire rim. This is from Lamonster's website:

These will not work on the BRP Shamrock wheels with out changing the valve stem (Stock stem is too short for Fobo).

My 2020 has the shamrock rims. I have not investigated what it will take to change the valve stem.

Slightly off topic, but not by much. I just installed my FOBO2 and I didn’t realize until I was picking up tools and trash that there are locking nuts in the box which I didn’t install. Wouldn’t be that big of a deal to install them, but I was wondering if most everyone uses the locking nuts or not?

You don't 'need' them for the caps to stay on. The gasket friction holds them. They are supposed to help deter thief but - really?
They may not fit on your OEM stems anyway.

Thanks for the quick response. That’s kind of what I thought...not really necessary but wanted to double check the knowledge base here. I didn’t look to see if they’d fit in the short little valve stems BRP uses and I guess at this point I don’t even care if the locking nuts fit or not

All this talk about the FOBO TPMS got me to stop and change the batteries with the extra set that came with it. Wonder if I will get over a year and a half on this set?

My original FOBO2 batteries died at just under 2 years a couple months ago. Changed them and all was/is well again. But I rarely used the "logged in" feature of the app while riding. Would check the pressures using the app on my iPhone at stops, or before starting rides, etc. I don't "live monitor" the pressures while riding.

Are the shamrock rims installed on the Chrome Edition RTLs only, but the Dark models have another type? Just wondering if the 2020 RTL Dark model can use the FOBO2 TPMS setup? The rubber valves look pretty short on that rim as well so wondering if anyone can confirm?

Had Steel Mate (sensors similar to FOBO) tpms on our GL1800. Batteries on it lasted over five years. I learned that correct tire pressure setting was almost impossible without T stems. After having them installed, adjustment and checking with an independant gauge was simple. I understand the tires on a new Spyder have short lifetimes. I will have T stems ready for installation when new tires go on.

Highly recommend the FOBO2.

I have a 3-set on my Spyder, and a 2-set on my Spyder trailer. Work great.

Customer service... had one of mine on the Spyder (over a year old) that started draining the battery in less than 2 months. Contacted the FOBO guys, sent them a diagnostic (from their app), and they sent me a new device at no charge. Great company to work with!

Problem...trying to fine BR1225 batteries. The only place that has them in town wants $6.00 each. From Walmart, if I want to wait few days, 5 for 4.99 for same brand. If I need two, I'm sure I will need the third very shortly. I guess I will wait.

Curious, what role do rubber valve stems play with this issue. Not being sarcastic, thinking there might be something I don’t know.

I have heard of the weight of the TPMS causing enough flex in the valve stem to mar the wheel.
