Used or new seat for 2011 RT audio and convenience model

My 2011 RT seat stitching by the crotch area started tearing...and I did not successfully stop it. Now it is ripped into about a 6-inch wide hole. I have some estimates on repairs which are not cheap.....$375. So I did some Google and Ebay searches for new and used seats but the ones I found were more expensive that this. Does anyone have a line on who sells new or used Spyder RT seats? Thanks!

Seats are very, very expensive to ship ..... hopefully someone here will have one for you and live close enough to do it in person ..... I have two new ones ( take-offs ) but I live in Vermont ...... Mike PS, just so you know RT seats from 2010 to 2019 will fit fine, from 14 & up the seats have the ability to add a driver backrest ..... good luck ..... Mike

That is a GOOD price on shipping, I would recommend that offer.

I gave away my last "OEM take off seat" but the party getting it paid $75 shipping to Las Vegas from Arkansas.

$375 to fix the seat has the red flags waving and the BS meter pegging the top. You can do much better. There should be a LOT of OEM seats around because most get replaced. I threw two of them in the trash when we moved from AK two years ago. They had sat on a shelf in my garage for several years.

All RT's came with the same OEM seats from 2010-2019.

Mikey, thanks so much for the reply. I get an error when trying to send or reply to PM's, so I contacted the Forum administrator to hopefully fix the issue. Hi Hilmee, If you've found your seat, then could you please use 'Thread Tools' (in the middle just above the first post) and then 'Mark this thread as sold...' to mark the thread SOLD and Close it so that everyone can see that from the index page. Sorry that we've only got 'sold' as a label, but it achieves the same end of telling everyone that you no longer need that item, so it'll work.
