I bought this one from Harbor Freight about 5 years ago to install a heavier swaybar. It worked fine, but just like CopperSpyder I bought two sets of jack stands to stabilize the motorcycle once i got it high enough to remove the bar.
I got the jack stands from Harbor Freight too.
I use it and love it. The fact that you can get the Spyder plenty high enough to swap out the sway bar says something. Very light weight. Great wheels. Looks good.
I honestly don't think you can beat it for the money.

I have the Craftsman which is basically twin to the HF that you're looking at. It fits under the spyder without having to drive up on 2x's beforehand. Good choice for the money.

Any issues using it to do oil changes? Are jack stands required with this or more of a CYA thing?
When using the jack with jack stands you can than remove the jack so you can do your oil change or what ever you want to do under the middle of the Spyder. Otherwise the jack would be in your way. I use 3 jack stands so i can use my creeper also.
Yep, this is the one I use too, along with standard issue jack stands. Works great with the Sypders and my Indian for general maintenance, mods, etc. Good luck!
Did my oil change without lifting the bike. Plenty of room for tools & pans........
I agree. Did mine without lifting. No need for a lift.
