Sometimes my Screen is full color and then as I glance at it again, it is a light gray color???? I wonder what is going on?

Sam, we discovered the same situation with our 2021 Sea to Sky. Here's how to solve the issue. Pull the "trigger" on the front of the left switch module to access all the settings available. Then, with the joy stick, tap down to reach the gear wheel icon the very last icon. Tap right to select "Display," then tap "Mode" the select "Dark." Yours is apparently set to "Automatic" as our was and that setting will change the display depending on ambient light. Change the setting to "Dark" and you'll have the "full color" instrument panel regardless of the ambient light conditions - bright sun, clouds and overcast, or pitch black night. Hope this helps.

I actually like the display change, even does this on my Tesla auto as well, but good to know I can manually alter the settings. Heck even my 2010 RT had this feature

My 2021 does the same thing, it does seem a little over sensitive but I leave it in automatic mode so it will change at night although I don’t know why since I very rarely ride at night!

One can also change the light intensity. Mine was on the dimmest setting which made it extremely difficult to read the gauges. Changed the setting to mid point. Now it is as it should be, day or night.

I like that item on mine, I don't like all that light in my eye's when I am night riding.

I agree. Personally, now that I've increased the multi colored background lighting to midpoint, I much prefer that to the daytime screen.
