Default 2015 Vulcan 900 LT--the fancy and loaded one

The time has come when I have to say farewell to my Vulcan 900 LT. My left leg will no longer support the weight and I am going to quit while I am ahead of the game.

The upside: Someone is going to get a really good deal.

    The Specs:
Kawasaki Vulcan 900 LT. This is the one that comes with windshield, floorboards, passenger back rest, and leather saddlebags. The seat, and saddlebags are trimmed with studs. This is a real looker of a motorcycle.

Weight is 735#. A medium weight m/c and perfect for touring without all the additional amenities.

I have added a little extra bling: Studded tank bib, studded windshield bag, headlight and speedo visors, and roll bars.

The oil was changed 3,500 miles ago (7,500 span suggested by manual). I put new tires on and they have less than 2,000 miles on them.

There are no scratches, and the m/c is perfect mechanically. One ding only, my wheelchair fell off the shelf during the AK earthquake of 2018 and put a small dent in the shock housing. You have to look hard to see it. I call it a badge of honor for surviving the 7+ earthquake.

The actual mileage is currently 9,439. Not bad for a 2015. I did some looking at pricing. KBB for my area (AR) shows $4,010 for trade in and suggested retail $5,820. I have always said the sales price is that magic price between the two.

For SL members, I am reducing the price to $4,000 (the suggested trade-in price). This is the final offer. The title has long been clear and clean. A nice ride home to almost anywhere in the US.

I am not going to take the time to post current pictures. My spyder garage shows it. If you need pictures, I will be happy to take them and PM them to a serious buyer or two. The color is sparkle black with green pinstriping.

Hoping that there is someone in the group that wants a fine two wheeler for some added fun. I know there are a few other Vulcan 900 owners here, and they know what I am talking about.

SEE POST #10 FOR A LINK TO A PICTURE. YOUR GOING TO GET AN ALBUM OF FIVE PICTURES. PICTURE #1 OF 5 IS THE VULCAN.
I could not get just the bike picture to transfer. My technical skills are showing. When the picture of the wood carving pops up, click on PREV and it will take you to the right one.

Going to bump this to keep it in the queue for a week or so. I know this is a longshot, but it really is a good bike, and a good deal. I stake my long time reputation on it.

As someone who has owned (2) Kawasaki Nomads (the 900s more touring oriented big brother but on the same basic Vulcan platform), let me just add that Kawasaki hit a home run on the entire Vulcan lineup. These are some strong, long lasting, relatively maintenance "easy" (nothing's maintenance FREE) bikes. Really good deal on this one.

Agree on the Nomads. I had a 1500 Vulcan Nomad. A GREAT ride.

I sold my 2012 VN900 Classic in March of last year after 6+ years, 13,000 miles. I loved that bike and I really miss it. Easy to ride, easy to maintain, easy to look at. Never a mechanical issue. Highly recommendable.

I think your really doing yourself a disservice by not posting pictures. I know you said you'd provide pictures to a PM, but you know what they say, "a picture's worth a thousand words". I think the same holds true when it comes to sales. When I see a picture of a great looking bike or car I'm much more likely to read the ad! It might even entice to me to have interest where there wasn't any.

Yes. It only takes that one person looking for the right bike to make all fall into place. Sometimes, things are just meant to be.

Getting to the final weekend of my ad. Thanks for looking anyway. It will still be in the records here until I actually sell it or trade it in. Someone is going to get the best "used" M/C they have ever bought.

Reduced to $4,000--the trade in price. No further dickering...
