Default Is it OK to use Lock-Tite Thread locker on my Spyder?

I've read a few times in other places that you shouldn't use Lock-Tite because it deteriorates ABS plastic.
Is the Spyder ABS? IS it ok to use Lock-Tite, or should I be using something else?

    1Thanks

BRP uses Lock-Tight during their assembly. Sometimes they are over generous with the red one. I have used blue on some applications. Have NOT had any issues with the plastic deteriorating to my knowledge. Don't be overgenerous and try to keep it on the screw threads though.

What plastic so you think needs LokTite ..... imho lok-tite will only work on something that is Threaded ..... for anything plastic a small dab of RTV will keep it in place , and still be able to dis-assemble ..... I have re-moved bolts from my 14 RT 100's of times ( the ones BRP lok-tited ) and never re-loktited any of them ..... none have ever loosened ..... good luck .... mike

I've been using blue locktite on bikes forever and have never had plastic damage.

I have some threaded screws and bolts on my Spyder, so I was just checking.
Thanks... the RTV is another good idea.

Good .... the only plastic " attachment devices " that I can think of are the " push pins " all the others are metal with metal threaded inserts or clips ..... good luck .... Mike
