    Default Ultimate seat

Hello how many of you have switched your stock seat out with a Ultimate seat on a RT Limited. Is there that much of a difference. The reason why I am asking is I have tried gel packs, seat cushions, seat beads, so I gave up on those items and just ordered a Ultimate seat for my 2015 RT Limited.I hope it makes a huge difference because I don't think that I can ride much longer with the junk stock seat.

A lot of people on the site have bought the Ultimate seat and have nothing but good to say about them.

I have had 2 Corbins (RT & GS), three BRP Comfort (RT's & one RS ), and one BRP Cannonball on my F3. I have been happy with all my choices.

Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

    Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)

MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles

IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

Its either you will love it or not. All depends on the person sitting on it.

Anything was better than that stock seat at the time. I hear the newer models are much nicer on the fanny??

You might check this out if you are still considering an Ultimate seat.

    Default New Utlimate Seat

    Good morning,

I'll be watching this thread to see what others say, as I just installed my new Ultimate midrider seat on my 2019 RT yesterday. My first impressions are very positive. It was VERY obvious when installing the seat that there is much more cushion material in the Ultimate seat vs. stock (very noticeable in the passenger seat) and on the first ride, it seemed I sat a bit higher than with the stock seat. (It was cold, and I only road around the block, so the memory foam had no chance to warm up. I suspect on a warmer day or longer ride I'll "sink" into the foam a bit.) Even on a five minute ride, I could tell the difference, as I didn't feel any pressure points on my thighs / butt like on the stock seat.

I had an Ultimate Seat on my 2014 RTS. It was way more comfortable than the stock seat. Was able to ride 2 hours or more without taking a break. I still have one on my 2017 F3. It to is more comfortable than the stock seat. I have also owned them on other motorcycles that I have owned in the past. They are that good!

I have one on my 2012 Spyder RT Limited and at the first i was not happy with it. Come to find out it was the wrong style for my body size. Since i bought it used the other owner must have been bigger than me. After talking to the makers of the seat they told me i needed a midryder style. It feels alot better plus i included the gas door.

I sure like mine on our RT. My wife used to ride with me and she really liked the passenger seat of it too. (now she rides her own RT) Ours came with the fuel door and backrest and cost about $1300 at the last Spyderfest.
