    Default Emergency brake light

I have a 2020 RT Limited with 10,000 miles on it. Yesterday the E brake light wouldn’t go out. Brake released, I locked it and unlocked it a few times and it was working fine, but the light wouldn’t go out. Rode it bout 30 miles home, never did go out. Anyone else ever had this problem ? What might be the problem? Is it ok to ride it like this ? Thanks

Don't know about specifics of 2020 but you should get to a dealership and get it corrected under warranty.

Ten thou needing brake fluid is poor original setup of Spyder.

Steady light on all the time = Low Brake Fluid - it really doesn't take much, often just a half a tea-spoon full. . They are very sensitive to low brake fluid....

Just an aside tho, for those who may not be aware - the PARK Brake on our Spyders is very definitely ONLY a Park Brake - there's no way it's an Emergency Brake, the computer won't let it apply at all if you're going too fast... I think it's limited to speeds below about 4mph, but it might be as much as 9mph . Whatever, it's a Park Brake that's only there to hold the Spyder still while it's PARKED, you really can't use it in an emergency to slow down like you'd use the (non-electric) Emergency Brake in your cage!

It takes 11V to activate the parking brake and it will not work above 6 mph; never tested the voltage but did at speed above 6 mph and the manual was correct.
