Well the Weather People are having some fun this morning. Going to rain off and on all day, 39°F now. Late afternoon calling for some snow, 1" to 3" maybe even a little freezing rain. Oh yeah, a frost warning overnight too.

High of 43°F with rain, low of 27°F with some snow.

Would you believe.............? Yes, we got about a half hour of SNOW a couple hours ago. We have high 30's, so it is not sticking. We have a freeze warning out for tonight. Supposed to get down to 30 degrees. Interesting weather for AR. Breaking records for cold and snow. 70 miles north, Springfield MO. They are supposed to get a couple inches and have 25 degrees tonight.

Welcome to the Indiana weather. One inch of snow on the ground. Old man winter did a really nice job on the trees and bushes. Temperature was 27°F this morning.
Weather People are saying that we might get some rain and a little more snow today.

Today high of 46°F with clouds, low of 30°F.

One thing we noticed since moving from AK is the wind. It comes on quite fierce and this time of year has a cold, cutting edge to it. The best way to describe it is BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

The warm up is coming back. The two week forecast shows 9 days out of 14 in the seventies or higher. 50% chance of T-storms later this PM. Going to get some morning riding in.

Well the weather turned out with some sun yesterday afternoon and all the snow is gone. Just have a few puddles of water in the yard today. Now it's 39°F and sunny, clouds coming in the afternoon.

High today only 54°F, with some clouds. Low of 36°F.

We got about 4 - 5 inches of snow.
The temps in the 30's.

It looks like the beginning of the winter season! ( off topic the sleds have been put away for the season) This is poor man's fertilizer.

But next week they are forecasting a Big warm up( 60's and 70's).

Well the lawn was really good and ready for some cutting. So I started the process early and got it all done. The temperature was 54°F at the start and finish up at 61°F. A lot of clouds made for a beautiful day.
Weather People are saying rain for tomorrow.

High 61°F with clouds, low of 44°F.

The desert S.W. is bright and sunny today. At 10:15 AM it was 79. Heading for a high of 89. Forecast shows a little cooling with the possibility of some rain the first of next week. But then right back into the 80s and 90s after Tuesday. I got back yesterday after a weeks trip to the Hill Country of Texas. I rode over 800 miles in 3 days of touring with old and new friends. The weather was just about perfect. Stay safe..... Jim

Big weather change here in the desert S.W. Yesterday I did a short 140 mile ride for lunch and saw a high of 93. Today we have high clouds and the high will only get to the mid 70s. Small chance of rain overnight and tomorrow morning. Stay safe..... Jim

Good Morning to you, 62°F now. Lots of great sunshine today. Going to do some yard stuff.

High will be 81°F,with all day sunshine. Low of 66°F.

We did another 100 miles today. Overcast, very breezy, but nice warm winds instead of the cold chill flavor. Temps hit 79 degrees. A couple more degrees and I will be dumping the jacket.

Not so nice in many other parts of here Down Under, but we're having a bit of 'late Autumn/Indian Summer' weather here in South Oz - mainly sunny, gentle breezes, mid-teens temps (°C) - pretty nice all round in fact, not too bad ryding weather...... only I'm stuck inside with a bung knee looking out on it all! Oh well, only a few more days....

The desert S.W. will experience complete annual temperature change in just a few days time. Today the high was 75. Tomorrow it will get to 85. Thursday will get up to 95 and by Saturday it is forecast to be 103. Going to get a couple hundred miles in tomorrow. Stay safe..... Jim

Rain and tornadic cells around us all day. Two came within 50 miles.

Mother nature DID NOT pay attention to the weather forecasters here in the desert S.W. This morning we started out on a nice ride to a place we like. Our riding took us in a S.W. direction. After lunch we took a little different route home but it was generally in the N.E. direction. Well, the cold front of the last few days did a "circle-back" on us and brought inclement weather out of the N.E., we were riding directly into it. Got into rain and winds of 40-50 MPH. It only hit us for about 1/2 hour and was not a soaker. I didn't even have a jacket on. It was not in the forecast and took us by surprise. Mother Nature can have a sense of humor..... Jim

Is THAT what you call it?! . I thought She just didn't give a tinker's dam about us mere mortals, and would do whatever She damned well pleased regardless!





There again, as someone (Else? Famous? ) must've said at least once before - & my apologies if I'm paraphrasing
"Life isn't about avoiding all the puddles, it's about learning to ryde in the rain!" .

It rained very hard during the night. Up to six inches in some places. We are on the top of a hill so no problems here.

Weather radio went off twice with flash flood warnings.

Last Thursday for the month of April 2021. Got about one inch of rain last night. There are still several large puddles of water in the yard. Today has been a very cloudy day and cooler than yesterday.

Today 63°F with clouds, low of 43°F.
