    Default Vredestein Q5

I was going to have a 'car tire' installed on my Spyder RT, but couldn't find a dealer that would install it.
So as other people have said about the OEM.

I had my local dealer install the new K9.

The installed time was 1/2 of an hour.
The K9 was on sale and cost less than the OEM.

Some times you have to bite the bullet.

I had 14K on the OEM Tire and it was ready to be replaced.

If you can remove the rear tire from your Spyder this is a different way to go.

    Happy Trails .........

Hi Pooch, I'm one of the " tire experts " ( Peter Aawen is another ) and I discovered the Q-5. Currently it's the best all-around tire for any Spyder. ... There arn't many dealers, so most by them on-line at either TireRack, or Vulcan tire , or Simple tire. .... Q-5's come in many sizes for the front ( 14 & 15 in. ) ... but only TWO sizes for the rear ... a 205/60-15 and a 205/65-15 either one will correct the speedometer error that occurs with the 225/50 - 15 OEM size... if you like the looks of a wider tires get the General Altimax RT 43 ( in V-speed rating ) in 215/60-15. .... These are widely available from numerous sources even E-bay ... good luck ... Mike
