    Default Stopping the scuff....

    Good morning,
I have noticed a few spots where the clear on a panel or two is a bit scuffed. I am particularly talking about where the passengers boot rubs against that rear colored panel. SO, I read that the scuffing is very common on these, and I'm not ready to jump off a bridge or anything, but what do you think about putting a piece of clear tape there. Small maybe 1-1/2" x 3" ... helicopter tape? Might that work? I am assuming I can get it off when I want to will no ill effects?

Since this area borders the black panel, someone suggested a strip of black Velcro, the soft carpet-like side... Any other ideas?

    Thanks

Maybe something from Wrap My Spyder. Will definitely cost more that tape or velcro though.

I think 3M makes a vinyl sheet material you can cut to fit and squeegee onto the panel.

    otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Thank you. This looks like something quick and easy to try

Check Wrap My Spyder, he has what you need. I have them on my F3 Limited.

I've done WrapMySpyder in some strategic spots on my 2920 RTL and it is working as advertised. Not on the cheap, but precut to fit and easy to apply following the instructional video. I do not have the patience or creative ability to cut and apply the 3M sheets.

Sounds good, I am not an ambassador for Wrap, just my experience with the product. We know that the BMW paint is soft, as other motorcycles I suppose, so Wrap can prevent the 'swirls' or cover them as well.
