Looks good. You're right, they are a blast to ride.

    Cool That's Great

You did a great job. Make it your own.

The black ones ARE faster, right? <G>

Was thinking of doing some with gravel guard paint like they use on lower car panels. Gives you a naugahyde like finish with three or four light coats (with some practice), somewhere between semi-gloss and satin if you leave it raw.

And of course you can paint that if you like using a factory color ... have to look two or three times to catch that.

Michael - I look your look! I was almost going to go with a 900 over the Rally edition just b/c I liked the all black look better, but I like your solution better - get the Rally and then black it out.

Do you still have the standard silver accent Rally rims too or did you black those out too? and if you did, how'd you do it?

haven't messed with the rims yet.powder coating would be the best way but a bit labor intensive.took off the rally belly pan to see the bottom better and chase a tiny oil drip.damn wiring is ty wrapped and routed thru it.got it though.now its a couple minutes and 5 push pins and its off or on.

I'm not the best painter, specially with spray cans.i had a tiny run on the trunk piece.so far its holding up.if it flakes or peels,i'll just shoot them again
