It’s fun reading the comments on this forum...... it’s mind boggling the array of opinions one subject can stir up.
So..... the winner is:
Which oil should I use in my Spyder?
OR
Which tires should I use on my Spyder?
Hmmmmmm........
Oh yeah......What brand of gas should I use in my Spyder?
...........just an observation folks..........
Oil and tire threads are common throughout the automotive/motorcycle forum world. However oil threads generally
get more rambunctious than tire threads. Many posters are vehement about their lubricant choices, but tend to be
a bit more lenient with the roundy black things.

It's ALL your choice, but wrong oil can damage the engine / clutch plates ..... Tires any size size that fits our wheels and fender clearance requirements. .... Oil I prefer a JASO 2 .... and tires - the Best that I have found ( that have our sizes ) are the Vredestein Q-5 ..... Mike
IMO...tires are the most popular subject on the site. I am to lazy to do a statistical analysis for truth. And...I don't think it really matters anyway.
On both subjects, there are some that are considered the resident "experts" on the subject. Then, there are others with all kinds of other ideas. I am an "against the site" person when it comes to the OEM Kenda's. Have had reasonable service from them. But...that is a different story.
The big thing, IMO, is to accept what others have to say, digest it, and then do what the heck you want to. You will anyway.
Many of the threads do turn into shouting matches or worse. We (the mods), now keep this under our sight and act accordingly.

I know Peter likes to keep his ''trade secrets'' to himself but I'm sure he won't mind me sharing this one. It's on the back of his business card anyway.
