How do I Adjust Ryder foot pegs on 2018 F3?

Just upgraded to 2018 F3 SE6. I was under the impression I could adjust the foot pegs myself. Has anyone done their own or do I have to have the dealer do it(as suggested in the owner manual). How does that affect the brake?

Do you want to go forward or back on the footpeg? I'm going forward 2 spots to position 5. Usually the stock pegs are set on position 3 from the factory. I ordered position 5 for mine. All you need is the brake linkage. The foot pedal on the left just loosen and move up and re-tighten. If you have the semi-auto.
