Default Any F3(S) owners here using the BRP chopped rear fender kit?

As the title says, wondering if anyone here has the BRP chopped rear fender kit on their F3/F3S ? Wondering about quality, easy of install, etc. Still waiting on word if the kit works with the Shad luggage mounts installed. Too much to ask for Can-Am to put fitment disclaimers with their accessories Thanks

I don't own an F3 (base or S) and don't ever plan to but that looks sick! Well, it would look sick if you moved the license plate to the axle/swingarm. Sorry. I can't answer any of your questions. Just wanted to say how cool that looks.

For the F3t, I can remove the mudguard to get a "Bobbed" fender look. To ease the horrid BRP design, I have cut all the pins off with dykes then taped the guard in place and drilled holes for #8 black screws. Using a slow speed screwdriver it's very easy to R&R the piece and it also makes the single tie down method much easier to get done.

Well ... Currently have this installed. I know the ramifications with water, debris, etc. When I travel, I have a Lamonster pack rack/top case installed. The chopped kit does look cool..

I have had one on my F3S for 5 years now and NO problems with it at all. I was a Auto Tech for 22yrs so install was easy for me. Even with that said I think it should be easy enough if all tools are present and logic can be applied to the install as the instructions are a bit lacking. That said, there are instructions online for most of their stuff and most times are much better than what is supplied with the accessory itself....

Fender eliminators look good on a lot of bikes, but I'll have to say it doesn't enhance the Spyder's appearance IMO. But if
you like it that's all that counts.

OMG. THAT! I NEED... TO DO... THAT.
I’ve been looking at the back of the bike (routine checks, and such) and keep thinking...
“I wish... that... looked different... or something”

Waaaaay too much mudguard back there. Its overkill.
Gonna add this to my ToDo List, see how I like it.

Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this!!

I'll likely route the lighting cable up thru the fender for future use, but will hold off on the plate mount attachment and keep using my side mount. Does the fender itself attach at its bracket with 2 or 3 screws/bolts? Just wonder how secure it is? Thanks

IIRC (It was 5 years ago ;-) ) 3 bolts/screws to attach it. It has been very sturdy! We have been down some rough roads at gnarly speeds! Also, the finish on it has held up PERFECTLY....

Little light bulb went off in my head about adding some lights to the chopped fender. Happened to have some ebay red LED strips in the basement. Don't think it turned out too bad

Hey Troop. I see in your signature you like to make stuff for your bike. I used to do that too. Can you post up some pics of your floorboards and highway pegs? I did the same on my gs back in the day.

It is a fairly recent term that means good. To say it looks sick is a high compliment.

The boards were cut from flat stock T6061 1/8" thick aluminum. I paid a local guy $60 for them. getting then Line X'd locally cost $50. The highway pegs are from Spyder Extras, and I bought used here from a forum member for $100. All in, I have about $215 in for the boards, highway pegs and hardware.
