Default What does this light mean. Can't find it in the manual.

Does anyone know what this light means? I assumed something to do with VSS or traction control, but didn't see it in the manual. 2020 RT base.
It came on after starting up the Spyder. Oh yeah, checked the fault codes, but didn't see one. I rode about 3hrs earlier in the day without anything weird happening.

Yep. You will see that light come on let’s say if you take a turn and lots of gravel. The rear wheel will spin and it kicks in basically like abs brakes but opposite. Yes I agree your probably not running at full rpm if that’s on. It’s made to take the spin out so you don’t donut around. I believe you can turn that off on the ryker only. Don’t quote me on that though. Take it in.

Cool. Thanks. I didn't see any other codes or error/warning lights. I will check the battery connections after it warms up a bit.

Weird thing is it came on when I wasn't riding. Started the spyder to shuffle positions with my car. The shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays. So, I'll have to drop it off on Tues.

There is a lot of components involved with the VSS system. If the battery connections are good then take it in for warranty.

    Good Luck..

Ok. So, I finally made it out to start her up. No warning light this time though. Maybe there is a battery thing happening. I will take it for a quick spin today and see if it comes back on.If nothing happens, since I have to drop it off at the dealer in a couple of weeks anyway, I will let them check it out then. Thanks Everyone!

Any weather change that might have triggered the code? If so, I'd suspect a loose connection somewhere. I know I had to pretty much pull and reseat every connection on my R6 to clear a multitude of electrical faults. I also waterproofed it while I was at it, using dialectic grease on every connector. Cleared up all the errors and kept the brain happy.

It kind of looks like the high beam indicator to me. Flick your headlight switch a couple times.

It will also come on if the passenger seat switch gets disconnected. Check the connector under the seat.

Not really any crazy temp fluctuations. I'm guessing a loose connection somewhere or battery related. I've been meaning to check it out some more, but have a lot of other more pressing things that's has my attention right now. Thanks for the tip.
