A service bulletin is not a recall. A service bulletin is not free unless the bike is under warranty. Recalls are free and the company should send a recall card to the address you used when you purchased the bike. They do not issue anything to you on a service bulletin.

Thanks
I got in a hurry and made the same mistake.
Just remember to ask the questions about who pays.
Then move forward. ......

Why not just purchase the kit from Lamonster and install it yourself? It's quite easy and your Spyder wont be in the shop waiting on repairs.

I did the LaMonster kit on my 2019 RTL. Easy after watching their video and the vibration is gone. I'm not sure why BRP decicded to make these mirrors detachable in case of hitting something because with the wheels out farther than the mirrors, if you do hit hit an imovable object, you have a lot more problems than replacing a mirror. Besides that, my dealer was running 6 weeks out for service. So glad I'm close to LaMonsters!

Another “yes” on the LaMonster fix! I should have read this post before I added one, sorry! This fix from LaMonster is cheap, easy to install and works great!
