Welcome to the first Friday of March, 26°F here in Indiana. No snow here just a very wet yard.
Spring is only 15 days away. .....

Today we have 46°F with some clouds and low of 25°F.

Temp today is 19 degrees, partly sunny. Cold.

Snow still on the ground.

Still very cold out, they are saying to bundle up if you go out side. We are getting a low pressure system from Canada that is sending the cold air down to us( here in Vermont). The feel-like temps only in the single digit above and below zero today. In the Adirondacks and Green mountains will be getting about 2- 6 inches of new snow by the end of the day, at 1,000 feet and higher.

The first weekend of March we will still have some cold weather. But the temps will bounce back on Monday thru Wednesday 30's, 40's, and even some 50's!

We are taking a day off from riding. 40's now, cold breezes, and rain. We did get our second Covid shots today though.

Supposed to be more sunshine and 50 degree plus days beginning tomorrow.

Our first day of 70’s this year, definitely going to ride somewhere. Maybe Nemo rd. Not done with winter yet but it’s a good start.

Nice ride today. Another Bluebird day. 59-64 degrees most of the way. Did another 100.

Another Bluebird day, and the forecast for the week has a 70 in it. A great morning for bird watching. We saw Bluejays, Cardinals, Robins, and Sparrows this AM. The birdsong accompaniment was not bad either.

Chores and riding to follow.

My biggest chore is now complete. I finally bit the bullet and purchased a new computer. This has windows 10...goodbye windows 7.

So far, its working good.

March arrived here like a lion, so maybe in the next couple of weeks, I can start riding again. 6" of the white stuff still in the driveway, but melting fast. Hoping for a wet spring because we're a little short on the H2O. Saw and heard the sandhills heading north yesterday. Cal-Fire has already begun prescribed burns around NORCAL in an attempt to fend off the devastating wildfires that destroy so many homes and lives.

High this PM was 65 degrees. A Bluebird day. There was a chill wind blowing as we topped a couple of the mountains. Both of us enjoyed the ride as usual. Another 100 miles.

Woke up to MORE snow. Hopefully this is about it. Good for the ski season though. Son and grandsons are coming up for days of skiing around Lake Tahoe. One of the highlights of my life.
BUT both my wife and I are quite ready to RYDE.

Supposed to reach 67 today. Started out Bluebird sky, but now, mostly cloudy. Not calling for rain today, so we will get out and ride some.

Good Morning and Welcome to Friday's weather, 45°F now in Indiana. The sun is shining and mostly blue sky. Got .6" of Rain yesterday. The lawn is really doing great and green.

Today 57°F and sunshine, low of 34°F.

It's unseasonably cool here in the desert S.W. Today's low was 44 and the high is supposed to be 66. It is now partly cloudy and the forecast is for rain to begin at 2:05PM. When I checked the weather forecast on my computer, this is the first time I have noticed a report of exactly when rain will begin. One hour to go. Interesting to see how accurate they are. Stay safe..... Jim



P.S. Well, maybe it started to rain somewhere at 2:05PM but not at my house. No rain until 11PM. So much for computer forecast accuracy.....

60's, but fog, and now rain. Sorry, but I am thinking I screwed it up for you folks. Have a service appt. for the F3's in Nixa on Wednesday AM. The precipitation probabilities went from 36%, now to 57% for Wed. Murphy's Law sure is fun, isn't it.

Here in the Vermont, this morning we had 2 inches of snow, ( all gone) and the temps in the 30's, and sunny.

Tommorow we are having an other cold snap.

Monday thru Tuesday snow flurries
Wednesday the temps in the 50's. The rest of the week temps in the 40's , but on Friday an other storm system.

Old man winter is loosing his winter grip.

After a warm up we got over a foot of snow in Pittsburg, NH over the weekend. Still riding the sleds !!
