It does look great, and very nice job on the bracket. You definitely have plenty of storage for doing some long distance touring. I like that it quickly detaches so you can just detach and carry all your luggage into the hotel room.

Well that's certainly thinking outside the box.

looks great .. but everyone should have a look to the rear shock - sometimes they are not strong enough .. I use now a spring-limiter ..
Outlander fairing - Fox-shock - BajaRon Swaybar - Hankook tire/ back - 165/50 Imperial tires front & longer front shocks - GIVI Topase - Shad sidecases -heated grips - new seats

Very nice, it does indeed sounds like you have a good set up for touring
That 3 piece luggage looks great for a lot of storage. One thing I like about my solution is the fact you can easily remove the complete bag and carry it in a shoulder strap.

Thanks. I have actually kept an eye on the rear shock, using the dust on the shaft as an indicator of maximum compression and then checking clearance. Seems to be no issue at all for me, plenty of suspension travel left. For heavier riders or those with an passenger riding along I can totally see the need to look into the rear suspension though, and upgrade if need be

Any chance you could share the measurement for the mount by chance
