Hi, my spyder f3t has a fault code U3001 can anyone tell me what it means as I have searched practically everywhere on the net with no joy. The spyder is running sweet with no issues i can tell.

I searched the internet, and everything I’ve found points the the battery. Being a 2020, the first place I’d start would be the battery terminals.

Thanks for the replies much appreciated, it does seem like its a battery issue as it's thrown up some more fault codes C1290 P0562 as well as the original fault code U3001. All seem battery related so looks like a new battery is needed.

Don't leave the key on and play the radio for too long. That's what I did on my 2019 f3 limited and got plenty of fault codes. Once the battery charge back up codes went away and no problems.

Took it for a couple of hours ride today and battery seems to have charged up fully and all the fault codes have disappeared like Gedge said would happen.
Thanks again everyone for your replies. Motoquinny

If you don't ride it at least weekly, I would hook it up to a battery tender to keep it juiced up.

There may be better recommendations, but something along these lines should do it:
