I figure another stimulus check will pay for the gas increase for another year.

Well, don't want to get political, but the current administration is going to be big on renewable resource. Just ask the unemployed Keystone workers. Big Oil won't sit by idly..

It went up here about 2 weeks ago, but it went back down last week. It is all just a game that the industry plays. But if it is $4 a gallon, I am still gonna ride. Considering I have 2 hobbies, riding and shooting. At $1 per bullet, riding is always going to be cheaper. And besides, I can still find gas, but ammo is getting really hard to find. Glad I stocked up over a year ago.

With Covid vaccinations underway, this summer/fall will likely be a booming year for travel. And even with the increase in demand, prices will continue to rise as supply will dwindle

As of yesterday, our local gas prices were at $2.15 for regular. A month back, they jumped by .10 cents per gallon.
This was before any administrations changed and around the time of the Capitol unrest. I am thinking big oil was hedging their bets in case it really got out of hand.
To early to blame the current administration for this. They have more important fish to fry.

We’re not quite that high, but we are more than $1.20/litre for regular (87 octane).

The price here jumps just about every day. The station on the corner near me is 2.49 today, but I go a bit farther in the other direction to Sam's, where it is 2.14.

It does not matter because then the price of electricity will rise.
And be careful, I will say it in a low voice so that no one can hear me and not give ideas.
In no time we will be charged for breathing.

Just wait until you go in and get your next medications. You can save on gas but you can't save on your meds.

Reason: political reference removed

There was an article in WSJ earlier this week that the price of crude oil had risen to pre-Covid-19 2020 level and has increased 50% since October..

Prices been climbing here in Arizona. Interestingly, the price of fuel is between 30 and 40 cents cheaper in some of the smaller outlying towns. And there is no competing for business. They are ALL greedy and raise their prices in unison..... Jim

There have now been three removals of political references.
Rule number two: no political posts has been ignored.
Subsequent posts along the same lines will result in the thread being closed down.
From this point forward, political posts will result in infractions or worse. We have tried to be tolerant, but it does not seem to be working this go around.

I was in Albuquerque NM on Tuesday, regular at $2.45 and I had to stop at Chevron for super unleaded for Spyder at $3.45! Proud of their fuel! Going up everywhere, glad we get over thirty miles per gallon!

I feel you! Seems Sweden and Australia have about the same price for gasoline.
It sure burns in the wallet every time I fill up a full tank in the car.

Sorry don't agree with you. Closing the pipeline down and relying AGAIN ON FOREIGN OIL. Your going to see prices climb to well past 3.00 a gallon. Don't want to make it political but a spade is a spade.
