Battery terminals loose
Six thousand miles and time for an oil change service. So off I go for a short ride. A couple of blocks from the house my Rallye dies. I restart and off I go. Coming home she goes into limp mode. Shop closed on Monday so Tuesday morning I limp to the dealer. He calls and tells my tat there aren't any codes but the battery cables are loose. They do a $360 total tune-up, check belt, new plugs, filters and oil. Hope to hell that fixes her for another 6000 miles.

Those should never loosen on their own. If you never removed the battery I would question the dealer if they are the ones who assembled the bike and let them know if they proceed with the charge you will be doing business elsewhere. As well if you have never done your own oil and filter change you will save a ton doing this yourself. Dealership repairs do not necessarily mean you will have quality work done.

Why blame the set-up dealer?
Checking cables is a 6,000 mile item (not that I would take a Ryker 6,000 miles before the first oil change)
I added stainless steel split washers at first service (1200 miles)

I had a loose battery cable on my 2020 RTL just two months and 700 miles after I picked it up. I tried tightening the screw, only to find both terminals were as tight as possible.
I also thought to blame the set up technician at the dealer.
It turns out that on the negative terminal, the screw was just a hair too long (or more likely, the battery terminal was a hair too short). The screw was bottoming out in the terminal without completely tightening the cable. I put a washer between the cable and the terminal and retightened the screw. 6000 miles later, I've not had any issues.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

If I posted 6,000 mile spark plug change intervals, pls advise where, so it can be corrected.
Can-Am advises to replace standard plugs at 12,000 miles
I would expect iridium to last 50,000 miles

The only differences I recall from 2019 to 2020 is the engine oil fill amount.

First thing I do after a purchase (car - motorcycle - tractor) that includes a starter battery is add star washers, tighten down terminals, and give a good saturation charge. Then recheck at each service.
