Default 2020/21 redesigned front drive sprocket

I won't replace it till the beginning of March so I don't have anything to compare it to. But this is the redesigned one hope it's quieter!

Not having anything to compare it with...what's different about it? Will it retrofit all 1330s? Got a part number?

My shop said they redesigned it due to wearing on derive belt. My dealer read me a shop notice from can am on both noises we hear at around 50/55 and 70 / 75. Can am is ver aware of the noise problems but know real solutions.

Did I read that part number correctly? 105563244?
Anyone know if it retrofits all 1330s?

Well BRP parts catalog for 2021s built after Sept 2020 list part number 705503239 and before that date part number 705502134. So is the 705503244 a third version of the part?

To my eye, and it's difficult to be certain because there is no common scale with either of the two sprockets, it appears the holes may be larger and there is obviously no raised ring on the inner circumference of the flange on the 10/20 sprocket. Larger holes probably would reduce the tone of any whistling (think flute or penny whistle notes). Just a WAG on my part. The date on the 705503244 is obviously later than the Sept 20 date mentioned in the parts catalog and I thought the "new" '21s were supposed to begin production in Jan '21. Ergo a part with a 10/20 manufacture date would be available for 1/21 production. Another WAG.

I think OP's pictures are of the back and front side of the same sprocket?

Very valid point, particularly noting the wrinkles in the bolt bag. Question then would be what do the new and old ones look like side by side.

Yes, photos with the new and old pulleys side by side would be very helpful. Hint, hint.

I have the same sprocket to put on my wife's 2018 F3 tomorrow. I will take a picture of the new and old sprocket side by side. The only thing I noticed was that the new one is painted, but I did not measure the hole sizes. The new one does have made in the USA printed on it. I will need to look to see if the old one has that as well.

    Side by side pictures.
Holes are the same size. Looks like the flange to sprocket hub is sloped compared to the old one.

There are varyations of a saying:

“It is a damn poor mind that can think of only one way to spell a word.”
    -- Andrew Jackson

"I have nothing but contempt for anyone who can spell a word only one way."
    -- Thomas Jefferson

“Anyone who can only think of one way to spell a word obviously lacks imagination.”
    -- Mark Twain

I think you get the gist.

I am constantly amazed (amused?) by the mis-spelled words and other incorrect phrases I see on various forums. On another forum that I frequent, I have met many of the members. Most are well-educated and well-spoken, but the words they put on my screen certainly do not convey that image. Yes, there are "fat-fingered" mistakes where a wrong letter is pressed (or omitted), but when you see entire words or phrases that are incorrect, it only leads to wonder. Fortunately, since I have met them, I can see the twinkle in their eye and hear the drawl in their voice as I read their words, I actually know and understand what they are writing. I learned to spell correctly well before third grade, when the spelling bees started, and I try my best, but mistakes do happen. I have also learned to not criticize others for their mis-spellings, unless it creates so much confusion that it the question can not be answered. From my viewpoint, PW2013STL might be the best of life-long friends and you are only ribbing him, but there is no way for me to tell. Emojis can help a bit, but with a limited selection, ...

I assume that in the third picture the old one is turn 180 degrees? Are the splined hubs the same length or is the new one wider?
