The article would have been a Lot more interesting if the person had given some info on what the Ryker actually did in the snow. IMHO Rykers / Spyders .... in / on snow is a dumb idea ...... Mike

A lot of people are going to try doing Spyders and Rykers in the snow. Been there and done that.

My take on , the front wheels act as snow plows and cause the back wheel to spin. Hard to get going, and then, if you hit an ice patch...you are not going to stop.

Just got done reading our manual for the new F3L. There is a paragraph in it that states do not use on ice or snow. But, who reads the manual?

Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

    Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)

MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles

IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

Assuming this is correct (copied from the article), or even close to correct, these numbers bode very well for all of us. The more they are able to produce, the better the economics for all involved, and the more likely they are to have the funds for growth and improvement!

It would also see that the Ryker (with its much lower price point) is doing very well at bringing in new ryders.
